All mixers are not created equal. The same can be said for replacement drums. Just like our original equipment drums, Kimble® AggreGator™ replacement drums last longer and are proven to haul more concrete over their lifecycle than competing brands.
Kimble replacement drums are constructed with two goals in mind – providing a more thorough mix in less time and offering a longer-lasting drum that save you money in replacement costs.
Kimble replacement drums are expertly retrofitted to enhance the value of any manufacturer’s mixer – front or rear discharge. Often, a mixer equipped with a Kimble replacement drum is better engineered than the original. Why? Because we custom build our drums to your dimensions, ensuring the proper fit and excellent performance. Our replacement drum representatives manage the entire drum replacement process, which includes:

Design
- Narrow, three-section drum has longer length for greater capacity
- Taller, rebar-reinforced flight design folds instead of mixes, providing a smoother and more consistent concrete
- Long, continuous angle offers a higher discharge point for less abrasion while also lowering center of gravity
The AggreGator™ drum features a unique geometry that allows for a lower center of gravity during transport and mixing. Its higher discharge point contributes to more consistent and higher-quality pours, while our exclusive use of premium ball busters and re-bar reinforced flight edges contribute to a smoother mix. We also created the AggreGator drum with drivers in mind – our drum is specifically designed to be more narrow than other drums on the market. This sleek shape offers drivers a better view when backing into job sites to line up a pour.
Construction

Many of our competitors use skip welds in their drums, which offers significantly less strength than our continuous welding process. Continuous welds are used throughout our drum construction to enhance durability.
Kimble drums also are made using premium KimSpec AR200 steel. While most drums are made using this grade of as-rolled steel plate, we specify tighter tolerances and chemical compositions – using a narrower group of steel that maximizes hardness and wear resistance.
Our manufacturing team uses high-quality methods to make sure our drums are as tough as the steel they’re made from. From joggle joints that keep seam wear to a minimum to superior bulkhead construction, our manufacturing processes are improving drum life and increasing your ROI.
