This new mixer design combines the expertise of both the Kimble Chassis and Kimble Mixer family of companies.We have listened to the needs of the largest producers in the country, and we have met or exceeded those needs in every aspect of this truck. Built on a superior chassis and fitted with a cab like no other, the KF3100 series mixers are built to wear slower, last longer and operate more efficiently than competing brands. It Starts With A Superior Chassis
The KF3100 series chassis is a result of Kimble Chassis Company’s years of experience engineering & building custom chassis that operate in some of the worlds harshest environments. It was specifically engineered for use in these trucks and it will out perform the competition under any circumstance.
Our 12” tall, 3/8” thick rail with 3.5” flange is not only the largest frame available, it provides the highest resistance bending moment (RBM - Over 4 million inch pounds) of any front discharge mixer frame available.
Smoother Ride & Better Traction
Our unique use of light weight parabolic 23,000 GVW front leaf springs significantly smooths the ride of the KF3100 series mixers on the highway. And with our forward front axle, the KF3100 series easily navigates abrupt inclines and rough terrain when working off road. We’ve also designed our bridge axle for maximum ground clearance. Yet on steep inclines only the tires contact the ground preventing the frame from dragging.
Higher Capacity Air System
Our 120psi air systems consists of 4 individual tanks, for greater capacity. This robust system not only performs better, but can really save you in maintenance costs associated with an air tank failure.
High Visibility Aluminum Cab Design
The KF3100 series cab is like nothing you have ever seen. Built on an extruded aluminum frame, it allows superior visibility to the ground, just directly in front of the bumper through three panoramic front windows. Large side windows, rear cab windows and large well placed mirrors all provide exceptional visibility for the driver. This makes the KF3100 series safer for everyone in and around the truck.
Ergonomics & Accessibility
Large Fibergrate® steps lead the way to a larger door and the spacious new generation cab. Right away you will notice the abundant head and leg room, overhead gauge cluster, tilt/telescoping wheel and hanging pedals. Add to that, joystick - electric over hydraulic proportional controls. Easy to reach air switches, a panoramic windshield wiper with three sprayer heads.
Largest HVAC System
Mounted behind the seat, this powerful HVAC system is out of the way of dirty boots. This provides easier access to filters, additional leg room and a cleaner cycling system. Double rubber door seals mounted on the door also work to keep the interior clean and free of dust and debris.

Kimble KF3100 Drum
The Kimble KF3100 drum is based on our Aggregator® drum design and will prove to last longer and haul more concrete over its lifecycle than competing brands. How’s that possible? Because we’ve thought of everything – inside and out.
We start by using taller flights with rebar reinforced edges for better wear and folding action. Continuous welds throughout, ball busters, and weep holes, all of which provide faster charge times and faster and smoother discharges, especially when working with low slump concrete, or doing slip form paving.

At Kimble, we use KimSpec steel for our structural components, a higher-grade of steel within the AR200 classification.
